Amun-Ra Lapis Lazuli Pendant

This gorgeous pendant, based in a museum piece, in handcrafted in 950 Sterling Silver with a selected Lapis Lazuli oval cabochons, hanging from a substancial Sterling Silver serpentine chain.

In Egyptian mythology, Amun is the ram with extremely curved horns; ram signifies fertility, as symbolized by ram’s great proactive and fertile energy! Legend says that pharaohs always liked to call themselves as “beloved of Amun”, meaning that they were the real representatives of the god of fertility. As a pharaoh was the “Son of Ra”, it was natural to call the god Amun as the father of the Monarch. Amun was the god of the Thebal capital and as a result, he was so successful in attaining the status of the supreme god of the whole kingdom. The almighty god Amun personifies the Sun God and the Sun is the symbol of birth and energy.   Therefore, this pendant and chain are full of historical and espiritual meaning.
